New bag design

I now have an outlet to sell Sweetheart Design bags, which is very exciting. They are going  to be a lovely little boutique in Buderim called Soul Diva. 

If you are interested in buying one of my bags I am always making new ones. Many of which are one offs, just email me and I can send you some photos. 

Lovely new Night and Day dress

I managed to pick up some great fabric before I left the UK, some of you may recognize...yes that's right it's Boden.

As some of you who have bought my dresses before know my sizing is a bit vague. In this new batch I have  small which would fit a 3 year old up to a 5 year old depending on their size, and medium which would fit a 5 year old up to a 7. But these little dress seem to go on and on, Molly is still wearing one I made her when she was 5 she is now 9. It's a bit short but still fits. 


The price is 15 pounds + 3 for postage or if you live in Australia they are 30 dollars + 3 for postage.

Emma's tunic


Well this week has been a busy one.
Firstly I have been making a top/ tunic for Emma in England. Lisa (her mum) emailed me a picture of what she wanted and I have made it for her.
She requested it be in purple, do you know how many shades of purple there are? Lots, I picked the shade I liked the best, fingers crossed I got it right.

Next week I will beginning a batch of Night and Day Dress in wonderful fabrics. When they are finished I will put pictures up if you wish to buy them you can take your pick.

We had two shark warnings today (Sunday) where everyone has to get out of the water, it's very exciting, the jaw music always comes into my head. Anyway they were both false alarms and just very large Manta Ray sightings

I thought you might like to see what I have been up to.

Making fabric bird houses and birds, very cute but I am not quite sure who is going to buy them. Even so they were fun to make, just to be creative again.

What else have we all been up to. Spending time at the beach before the children return to school. And spending time with Richard, who is going away to work for 3 weeks because all the work here has dried up.

I have started making pencil cases, they seem quite popular here, saying that I haven't actually sold any yet, but are using them as birthday presents.

I think I may have an outlet for my bags. There is a shop in Buderim owned by one of the Mums at school, she said she would sell them for me we just have to negociate a price.

What do you think of my bird house, I think I might make some more!!

Sweetheart Designs is up and running again.

Happy New Year to you all.

Well this is my first blog all the way from down under.

I thought you all might like to know that Sweetheart Design is up and running again, but I have decided to change the name to Molly et Moi, I will see what the response is before I lay anything in concrete or get labels made up.

As you can see I have created a new workshop it's not quite as glamorous as 'Her Shed' but it will have to do, and it will soon be full of new and exciting projects.

As you can see I have my trusted little helper Molly creating her own designs, she has informed me that she would like to do what I do and be and actor. I told her that she would probably make a success of both, good luck to her!

She is such a lovely person to be with that I thought it only appropriate to re-name the business.
